3. The day has been celebrated in several South American Countries for many years, particularly in Paraguay , where the 30th July was first proposed as WORLD'S FRIENSHIP DAY in 1958.

4. Within the famous Hindu epic Mahabharata, Lord Krishna has set up many colors for friendship-affection , romance ,brotherhood , protection ,guidance , closeness as well as tears.

5. 'D del Amigo' (the Spanish friends day) celebrated as friendship day ,celebrated on summer 20 ,mainly in countries like Argentina and Uruguay.

Here are the Facts you need to know:

Blue moon has few other names such as the Green Corn Moon , the Grain Moon ,Full Red Moon etc..
A full moon appears every 29.5 days .So, there are usually 12 moons in a year.
But some years have 13, with one month having 2 Full Moon nights.
July 2015 has two full moons. One on 2nd and 31st .
The last blue moon was on Aug 2012
And the next will happen in January 2018.

His full name Is Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam
He was born into a poor Muslim family, to Jainulabdeen and Ashiamma on October 15, 1931.
Even though he came from a poor family Background, he never gave up on his education
Kalam did his graduation from Madras Institute of Technology(MIT).He studied Aeronautical Engineering
He worked as a chief scientist at DRDO and was soon transferred to ISRO.

AT ISRO,Kalam was the project director to develop India’s first satellite launch vehicle (SLV 3), that placed Rohini satellite in the Earth’s orbit.

He played a huge role in developing guided missiles at DRDO.Hence the Missile man
He was the Scientific advisor to the Government of India, responsible for many missions for many development applications.
He was the 11th President of the Govt. of India.

Kalam's 79th birthday was recognized as World Students' Day by United Nations.
Of all his books, ‘India 2020’ is the most famous and most appreciated books.

The books depicted action plan which advocated India turning into a knowledge superpower and as one of the developed nations of the world by the year 2020

He was the first vegetarian Bachelor to occupy Rashtrapati Bhavan
